HONG KONG - GSK has expanded its relationship with JWT Hong Kong, awarding it full creative duties duties for Physiogel after a project done last year.

GSK awards duties for Physiogel to JWT Hong Kong

Physiogel is the latest in a portfolio of brands the pharmaceutical giant has handed the agency over the past year. Zyrtec was won in May 2012, followed by Avamys.

JWT Hong Kong won Physiogel after a three-way pitch earlier this month, as confirmed by Dennis Wong, JWT Hong Kong CEO.

In August 2012, the client already tapped JWT to create the winter campaign for Physiogel AI Cream (pictured above). That project helped boost product sales by more than 40 per cent during the life of the campaign.

According to data from AC Nielsen and Hong Kong Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (HKAPI), Physiogel is the fastest growing brand as of April 2013.

"It is the first time ever for Physiogel to snatch such a large portion of the market—in both the mass market and the pharmaceutical category,” said Matthew Chan, GSK's dermatology and vaccines business unit director.
