EVENTS: More focus needed on consumer benefits

Revolution magazine's Technology Marketing Seminar saw a cross-section

of marketing professionals and the Hong Kong new-media industry gather

to learn more about marketing through convergence devices.

Speakers at the event talked about the way new technology is changing

marketing, with sessions about interactive TV and mobile devices. The

event also covered the marketing of technology products, and how it

should focus less on technology, and more on what it can do for

people.

Speakers included Tribal DDB's Jimmy Poon, FantasticOne's Paul France

and Joe Sweeney of Gartner.
