“It’s a long story. I know her since we were kids. My dad and her mom used to be best friends. I remember seeing her at some family function when she was in class 6. My cousin was pulling her leg asking her to dance and that was when I had my first glance. Two years down the line, I found her on Facebook and we spoke for about a year but eventually got busy with our lives. And it was only two and a half years back, on my birthday, when she wished me and we started talking again. We spoke about our past, our respective lives and our mutual feelings for each other and we finally started dating but it was all over the phone. Then it was a family marriage, where we got to meet for the first time after being in a relationship and it remains as one of the most beautiful moments in my life. My biggest achievement in the relationship was getting accepted by her family. Her parents are very strict and possessive about her, quite obviously. Her mother knew about us but didn’t accept me open heartedly. It was only when her dog, Marshal was sick and admitted to the hospital that things changed. As soon as I came to know about it, I went to the hospital and saw her mother with Marshal. For one week, I was at the hospital, continuously taking care of her mom and Marshal. It was then, her mom realized that I’m a good guy from heart and perfect for her lovely daughter. Since then, the scene has completely changed. Now her mom trusts me more than her. She calls me to know about her whereabouts and listens to whatever I say. Our families met and they accepted us with open hearts. It’s a happy life now and it’s going to be so, forever.” #MumbaiDiaries #Mumbai #Stories #IndiaStories #BestFriends #LoveActually #lovestory #Conversations #matchmaking #love #magic #story #heart #romance #soulmates #relationship #photography #storiesofindia #instagood #streetphotography #SoMumbai
