Edelman China expands consumer marketing team

BEIJING - Edelman has expanded its China consumer marketing practice with two key hires and the promotion of another executive to a newly created national consumer brand role.

Corbin Hsieh has joined the firm as director, Beijing Consumer Marketing practice. He joins from previous senior positions in China at Win PR and Weber Shandwick.

Mei Ling Wee has joined as senior director, Shanghai Consumer Marketing practice. She joins from previous senior positions at Hill & Knowlton and other firms in Singapore. 

Onie Chu has been named director, China Consumer, responsible for the overall success and integration of Edelman China’s consumer capabilities. She will ensure that all of the agency’s clients have access to the best resources available to meet the complex challenges faced by marketers attempting to reach Chinese consumers. She will continue in her current role as general manager, Edelman Guangzhou.
