DTAC’s ‘Disconnected to connect’ commercial is circulating on social media sites including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. To date, the TVC has raked in as many as 397,030 views.

The ad features some of the common problems seen among mobile users who become so absorbed in using their handheld devices that they miss out on connecting with those nearest to them. Instead of meeting for dinner to catch up, people are logging onto Facebook. The TVC also features a father seen to be busy reading emails on his smartphone while missing out on his young daughter's childhood.

The TVC refers to the deep involvement of people with technology with the tagline 'Disconnect to connect'.

Despite being a mobile phone company, DTAC asks people to put down their phones to start noticing what they are missing around them. This commercial parallels with DTAC’s slogan, which is to ‘feel good’ in life.
