During his 33-year career at DDB, Scarpelli has created some of the most iconic, talked-about and awarded creative work in the world. Under his leadership, DDB has created a large network of award-winning and innovative agencies that, based on creative output, have been named Agency of the Year in more than 25 countries.

"The Titanium and Integrated category at Cannes Lions has become the most important bellwether of the industry, and I am delighted to welcome Bob back to Cannes where he will lead a genuinely outstanding international jury. Bob's passionate belief in creativity, and his unerring eye for the direction in which this industry is heading, will no doubt unearth again the world's most innovative creative thinking," says Philip Thomas, CEO of the Festival.

Commenting on his role, Bob said, "Attacking our clients' business issues in innovative and effective ways is critical to the future of the communications industry. We must use all the tools available to us today and invent new ones when necessary. The Titanium and Integrated Lions were created to honour that kind of breakthrough thinking. We will reaffirm that commitment in Cannes this year."

With this category now being the most exciting and important out there in the industry, Bob will be leading a highly respected group of influential visionaries who are at the forefront of taking advertising and communications to new levels.
