Gonzales, Molina and the rest of the team worked on DDB's McDonald's business. It is unclear how the client relationship will be affected.

The group all previously worked at Harrison McCann prior to joining DDB Philippines.

A DDB spokesperson said: “We are looking at the whole situation and reviewing all options to come to a solution that works for everyone. At the moment it’s business as usual.”

DDB Philippines also holds the creative accounts for Smart Telecommunications and PepsiCo non-carbonated drinks.

In August, Rapp Collins Manila, an affiliate of DDB, was dissolved as the Rapp network moves towards a more data-driven approach.
