Courtyard Marriott Thailand appoints new director of marketing

THAILAND - Christian Lueke has been appointed as director of marketing at the Courtyard by Marriott Cluster Thailand, effective immediately.

In this role, he will oversee all the advertising and public relations campaigns related to Courtyard by Marriott in Thailand. In addition, he will be responsible for increasing the profile of the Courtyard by Marriott resorts in Phuket and Hua Hin, and lead all sales efforts. 

Lueke joins Courtyard from a previous stint as group director of sales and marketing at Onyx Hospitality Group, with a focus on its Amari Hotels and Resorts brand. He spent five years at the company where he was tasked with all sales and marketing functions in both Thailand and overseas.

Lueke has also worked at the HMS International Hotel as its director of sales and marketing.

"We have taken a very different approach to Courtyard by Marriott in Thailand meaning our properties cater perfectly to guests looking for a great, value-for-money resort in beautiful beachside locations such as Phuket and Hua Hin," commented Lueke.
