The book contains letters and emails written by men to their wives or girlfriends after incidents of abuse. Flip the book over and page through the other way, and you find out what happened to each woman after those seemingly heartfelt apologies. Sent to politicians, reporters and other opinion leaders, the book earned significant media coverage and sparked a national conversation.
