Cannes: Greater China receive 40 nods in first of shortlists

CANNES - As the world's biggest celebration in creativity in communications kicks off in Cannes, we take a look at the shortlisted entries from the Greater China region for seven of the 12 categories, including Direct, Promo & Activation, PR, Outdoor, Media and Press.

Cannes: Greater China receive 40 nods in first of shortlists

Expectations have been boosted by last year's unprecedented success. Combined together, creative agencies from the Greater China region took home one Grand Prix, nine silver and 11 bronze Lions.

With only half of the shortlists announced, it is still too early to make any predictions. At press time, 40 entries from the Greater China region have been shortlisted for an award - six from Beijing, twelve from Shanghai, five from Guangzhou, 15 from Hong Kong and two from Taiwan.
