2018 Cannes contenders: 'Live Easter egg hunt' by Ogilvy Melbourne
We asked creative leaders from across the region choose the work they expect (or hope) to see winning at Cannes Lions this year. See all this year's Cannes contenders.

Contender: Live Easter egg hunt
Agency: Ogilvy Melbourne
Client: Cadbury

Nominated by:

Dan Saunders, ECD, Redengine:

Finally a bit of fun. In this true social experience, Cadbury launched a live Easter Egg Hunt, via a Facebook Live 360 video. The hour-long broadcast allowed people from all over Australia to participate together and explore a fantasy land, to find the eggs. Hunters searched the fantasy land for eggs, with the first people to spot them and post a comment being reward with a real Cadburys Egg. The campaign is a great fusion of technologies that is laying the path for the future of social campaigns.
