This year’s event, which will be held at the St. Regis in Singapore on 14 December, will also sees the introduction of a new parent company award, which will be based on results in the sub-regional and regional categories, as audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The sub-regional categories were launched this year in an effort to recognise people and agency achievements in Southeast Asia, North Asia, Greater China, India and the Subcontinent, and Australia/ New Zealand. The local office performance in these categories counts towards the Regional Network of the Year awards, as well as the holding company award.
Competition in the sub-regional categories is expected to be tough, with the Southeast Asia region accounting for the largest number of entries at 85. Greater China follows with 75, and Australia and New Zealand with 51, collectively.
Media and creative agency finalists will be individually notified on 18 November, with shortlisted agencies in the Media Agency Network of the Year and Creative Network of the Year categories invited to make live presentations to judges in Singapore on 25 November.
