Brandcast Media launches in Singapore

SINGAPORE - London-based digital agency Brandcast Media has expanded into Asia by opening an office in Singapore.

Brandcast Media launches in Singapore

The company was set up early this year, led by digital project manager Peter Woodford, who relocated from London in March. It offers digital media services such as online video content, streaming media, video-rich websites, online content marketing and social-media engagement.

“We were looking to expand rapidly into Asian markets with Singapore as the hub to service brands and clients within the area including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea and China,” Woodford told Campaign Asia-Pacific.

The Singapore office also recently hired Kate George as account manager.

A specialist healthcare agency, it develops innovative online videos, digital strategies, e-learning and digital campaigns for patients, healthcare professionals, medical associations and medical R&D, with a particular focus on cancer/oncology.

Among the clients it has worked with are Pernod Ricard, Unilever, GSK, Roche, Travelport and the European Union.

“We see video and social media as our key product offering and have termed this as 'social video',” Woodford added. “Social video is used to provide brands with marketing infomercials, which we will be integrating with ecommerce, social, mobile and interactive technologies.”
