Asian judges gain prominence at Cannes Lions

REGIONAL - Asian judges have taken a more prominent role in this year's Cannes Lions Festival, with 10 Asians named to the film, press and outdoor juries.

Cannes Lions will be held on 19 to 25 June 2011

Included in the Film Lions Jury are India's Malvika Mehra, national creative director at Grey India Japan's Hidenobu Niizuma, senior creative director at Hakuhodo and Thailand's Paruj Daorai, creative director at Leo Burnett.

The Press Lions Jury will feature India's Amer Jaleel, national creative director, at Lowe Lintas Singapore's Joji Jacob, executive creative director at DDB and Thailand's Warawut Kaennakham, executive creative director at DraftFCB.
