Apple pie meets pineapple in a Scrabble love story

From Europe: 'Anagram lovers' for Scrabble by Lola Lowe Madrid

Apple pie meets pineapple in a Scrabble love story

As Ad Nut's UK colleagues report, Mattel is promoting Scrabble with a charming love story about a man and a woman whose lives are connected by anagrams. He's called Santiago and she's Agostina. They live in Tokyo and Kyoto. She's a cab driver and he's a crab diver. You get the idea.

The whole thing warms Ad Nut's word-loving heart, even though anagrams aren't a part of playing Scrabble, and even though "apple pie" is not quite an anagram for "pineapple".
