Woolnough will support Weber Shandwick’s activities with Microsoft, which earlier this year selected the agency for its Asia-Pacific corporate communications brief coordinated out of Singapore.

He will be supporting account lead Ben Reed overseeing account activity, providing strategic client counsel and encouraging a culture of best practice across the account.

Woolnough will also contribute his leadership experience to further build Weber Shandwick’s Corporate Communications practice in Singapore.

“We are very excited for Andy to join our team,” said Jolly. “With 14 years of experience in corporate and technology PR communications across the UK, Eastern Europe and Asia, Andy is a skilled industry veteran.”

Woolnough comes to Weber Shandwick with both agency and in-house experience.

He has led teams across a variety of sectors, including consumer electronics, technology, mining, marine and civil aviation.

Most recently he has developed and run campaigns that aligned corporations with national agendas, specifically in education, workforce development and industrial and business growth.
