Aegis Media Philippines expands; makes three appointments

THE PHILIPPINES – Aegis Media Philippines has expanded its businesses, by making three appointments, to drive growth of the operation.

Miguel Ramos has been appointed as the chairman of Aegis Media Philippines. He will provide overall leadership to the executive team, with the task of expanding the group’s offering beyond Carat Philippines and Mediaforce Vizeum by bringing in the full brand offering of the Aegis Media group.

A creative entrepreneur with experience in the communications space, Ramos has managed independent creative agency ASPAC/Law, who is a recent winner of the Independent Agency of the Year award from the 4 A’s. He has been with Aegis-owned Mediaforce Vizeum as President/COO, since January 2009.

Angelito 'BoyP' Pangilinan, meanwhile, has been appointed CEO of Carat Philippines and Media Services. With over 35 years experience in the media and market research business, he previously worked with MediaCom in the Philippines and Campaigns & Grey.

Mike Ochosa, formerly managing director of Carat Philippines, has been appointed CEO of Integrated Services, including iProspect. A marketing and advertising professional with 25 years of experience with both brand leaders and market challengers, he has expertise in brand management, branded content creation, events management and sports marketing.

He will be tasked with introducing and growing new service offerings with a focus on digital and other direct to consumer communication channels.
