Littlefield joined Mitchell Communications as Chief operating officer in December 1997, and was given the same role across the wider Aegis group when it acquired Mitchell in December last year. Now, as CEO, he will report to both Nick Waters, CEO of Aegis Media Asia Pacific, and Harold Mitchell, who became chairman of Aegis Media Pacific after the acquisition.

Waters says Littlefield is a key asset to the organisation in Australia and New Zealand. "He knows that business extremely well," he told Campaign Asia Pacific. "Luke is a highly respected and talented executive and his positive leadership will be vital as we integrate more fully the Aegis Media and Mitchell’s businesses, while ensuring we continue to deliver the best results for our clients."

Littlefield said: “I’m honoured and excited to have the opportunity to lead our business in the Pacific region, where there is enormous potential for further growth both locally and amongst the global clients of Aegis Media."
