Further Your Vision with OPPO Reno
In a highly saturated phone market, brands are fighting for attention not just from consumers but also with journalists. OPPO’s premium flagship phone, the OPPO Reno, was set to launch in Malaysia and to cut through the noise, LEWIS opted for a different approach to media relations. The team set in a motion a grand scale launch and three different angles were created to cater to news, tech and entertainment media.
Planning & Execution
- LEWIS sent out a series of pre-heat media alerts leading up to the event
- Review units were seeded to members of the press prior to the launch and all reviews and stories were released following the official launch of the OPPO Reno
- LEWIS leveraged celebrity presence to create additional story angles via on-site interviews and photo opportunities resonate best with lifestyle media

- A total of 695 clips were generated
- OPPO ranks 2nd in terms of market share in Malaysia
