Filipino senator launches zombie ad to rally voters

MANILA - Filipino senator Koko Pimentel, together with Campaigns & Grey and its CRM division Campaigns Social Response, has launched a campaign urging Filipinos to vote in the 2013 mid-term elections.

Using Halloween humour, the campaign shows a zombie named Raymond Villanueva registering to vote.

As he confirms his identity, his ear starts to fall apart. As he stretches his arm to fingerprint his registration, his arm begins to break away from the rest of his body.

The spot ends with Pimental himself discouraging voter cheating and encouraging more Filipinos to register and vote.

Campaigns & Grey bagged the creative duties for the Senator’s office in September 2012. The agency has been tasked with above-the-line, below-the-line and digital duties. The campaign launched on 24 October.
