DigitasLBi appointed Ryan Balingit as head of media for Singapore and Joshua Lee as a client partner. Balingit joins from Possible, where led the global media practice, including Dow Chemical company, De Beers and P&G in APAC. Lee joins from Spark44, where he managed Jaguar and Land Rover across multiple APAC markets.

Karen Lo, formerly business director at McCann and Spencer in Hong Kong, overseeing clients including American Airlines, Hong Kong Jockey Club, MasterCard, Huggies and Nestlé, has joined pharmaceutical company MIMS as VP of marketing platform solutions. 

Israeli data and analytics company Iguazio opened its APAC office in Singapore. The company focuses on tools to manage continuous data streams and real-time event processing. it announced Grab as its marquee APAC customer in September. 

Dentsu One hired Michelle Ong as Malaysia CEO. She joined from Leo Burnett Malaysia, where she was chief operating officer for the past five years. In addition, Atsushi Kurokawa was named vice president of Dentsu One in Malaysia. 

BBH Singapore appointed Xander Lee as creative director, focusing on digital innovation projects. He previously spent nine years at Ogilvy, were cients included Google, Nike, Allianz, Singtel and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.

Y&R Group Brisbane has appointed Adam Kennedy as managing director, effective immediately.  Formerly, the Clemenger Melbourne business lead, Kennedy will lead a team of more than 60 staff at Y&R. 

Williams Lea Tag appointed David Kassler to group chief executive officer based in the UK with global responsibility for the business. David has spent the last decade as a CEO of private equity-backed businesses in the media, technology and creative sectors, including EMI Music, Phones 4u and Deluxe Entertainment. 

DigitasLBi won the digital strategy business for Roche-Foundation Medicine in APAC. The agency will work in partnership with the brand's lead strategic and creative agency McCann Health Singapore to develop B2B digital marketing strategies to communicate with oncologists.

Independent buy-side ad platform Sizmek appointed Kelvin Cheng as China managing director to  lead the company’s 30-strong operation in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai. He was previously the MD of Criteo China for nearly two years since 2015. Prior to that, Cheng was CEO of Triton Advertising and has also worked as China country manager for DoubleClick and MD of Leo Burnett in Beijing and Hong Kong. 

Interbrand Australia has appointed customer and design strategist Davy Rennie as director of the customer experience. Rennie has worked with brands such as Shell, Microsoft, Telstra and several government departments.

GroupM appointed Agha Ali Hussain as business director for the Unilever account in Pakistan. The move marks his return to the WPP since departing in 2015.

OMD Hong Kong appointed Sophie Mangnall as strategy director, reporting to CEO Deric Wong.
She joins from Blue449 in Hong Kong, where she was regional strategy director since 2015 and worked on accounts including Shangri-La, Puma, BASF and Swarovski.

Ikon hired Hugh McGilligan as national head of strategy and promoted Pia Coyle to national head of investment. McGilligan was most recently at Millward Brown Vermeer in New York and has worked at Edelman, Hill & Knowlton, and Y&R Brands. Coyle joined Ikon in 2011 and has been promoted through several roles including head of media services and trading director. Both report to COO David Gerrie.
