DigitasLBi appointed Ryan Balingit as head of media for Singapore and Joshua Lee as a client partner. Balingit joins from Possible, where led the global media practice, including Dow Chemical company, De Beers and P&G in APAC. Lee joins from Spark44, where he managed Jaguar and Land Rover across multiple APAC markets.

Y&R Group Brisbane has appointed Adam Kennedy as managing director, effective immediately. Formerly, the Clemenger Melbourne business lead, Kennedy will lead a team of more than 60 staff at Y&R.

Independent buy-side ad platform Sizmek appointed Kelvin Cheng as China managing director to lead the company’s 30-strong operation in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai. He was previously the MD of Criteo China for nearly two years since 2015. Prior to that, Cheng was CEO of Triton Advertising and has also worked as China country manager for DoubleClick and MD of Leo Burnett in Beijing and Hong Kong.
Interbrand Australia has appointed customer and design strategist Davy Rennie as director of the customer experience. Rennie has worked with brands such as Shell, Microsoft, Telstra and several government departments.

Ikon hired Hugh McGilligan as national head of strategy and promoted Pia Coyle to national head of investment. McGilligan was most recently at Millward Brown Vermeer in New York and has worked at Edelman, Hill & Knowlton, and Y&R Brands. Coyle joined Ikon in 2011 and has been promoted through several roles including head of media services and trading director. Both report to COO David Gerrie.
