WTF is my social media strategy?

Good, enlightening quotes on the topic of social media deserve their own place online, and Mike Philips has done it.

WTF is my social media strategy?

According to his online profile, Philips is an engagement planner at a UK branding company Lawton Communications Group. He has created a site ‘What the f*ck is my social media strategy' that can make everyone sound like a social media expert.

The site randomly generates ‘quotes’ every time a user refreshes it. The application behind the site mix and matches a preset list of jargon-like nouns and verbs.

The results look something like this:

  • “Build loyalty and increased engagement through ongoing conversation and brand experience"
  • “Maximise breakthrough by leveraging influencers”
  • "Ignite the existing community and attract new members by amplifying the experience with relevant and engaging content"

Sounds totally insightful already?

Practical or not, the site helps generate brainstorming ideas for people that are in the social media field.

The site debuted this month and has already gathered more than 3,000 friends on its Facebook page.
