Terry Savage to leave Cannes Lions after 33 years

The festival chairman will depart after the 2018 event.

Terry Savage, Cannes Lions’ longtime leader, chief spokesman, and a figure many viewed as the heart and soul of the global creativity festival, will be moving on after the 2018 event ends.

Cannes Lions and parent company Ascential announced the move in a press release today, noting Savage’s 33 years associated with Cannes, first representing Australia, then serving as CEO and finally chairman.
