This appointment also marks the third consecutive year the agency will be working with the client, after it first won the account in 2009.

Juliana Lim, marketing director of Pizza Hut Singapore, noted that it was an intense competition. “Despite being the incumbent, JWT has displayed a lot of passion and commitment toward our business," she said. "They have presented strong strategic insights and an interesting integrated creative proposal.”

JWT Singapore in the past has created several campaigns including the 'Cheesy 7 Guru' campaign, the 'fu' Chinese New Year campaign and the brand's 30th anniversary 'Change' campaign.

Angus Fraser, managing director of JWT Singapore, said, “I promised JWT would fight tooth and nail in this re-pitch, and that's exactly what we did. I'm delighted to be continuing the successful partnership.”

Valerie Cheng, executive creative director at JWT Singapore, added, “Any creative would love to work on Pizza Hut. The client is always open to new ideas and non-traditional approaches, so it's very exciting.”
