MDC Partners’ creative agency Crispin Porter & Bogusky (CP+B) has announced the opening if its Beijing office, where it will contribute work for Infiniti and American Airlines, two of its global accounts, as well as Tencent.

The Beijing operation joins an existing APAC office in Hong Kong, which opened in 2015.

For Infiniti, CP+B Beijing will work with the global team based in the agency's Los Angeles office and provide full-service capabilities to Infiniti China, including both strategic and creative direction. Likewise, for American Airlines, the creative shop will collaborate with the global team based in the agency's hometown of Boulder, Colorado, providing local insights and creative for the Chinese audience.

“CP+B Beijing moves the agency another step toward creating a potent arsenal of strategic and creative talent around the world,” Lori Senecal, global CEO, said in a statement provided. “Our modern global model has really resonated with our clients, delivering global consistency and strong local market flair through a genuine spirit of collaboration across our 10 offices.”

Infiniti appointed CP+B as its creative agency-of-record in October 2014. While the account was managed out of Boulder, the agency said it always planned to open in China to service the business.

The new office is staffed by 18 employees and is led by Bamboo Ye, general manager and executive creative director. Ye is supported by a creative director, strategy director and business director.

The agency established operations in Brazil in 2014 and in June of this year inked a strategic partnership with Swedish agency Forsman & Bodenfors. CP+B’s other offices are in Miami, London, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Stockholm.

In October 2015, after nearly 25 years with McCann affiliate TM Advertising, American Airlines picked CP+B as its creative agency of record. The agency launched its first campaign for the carrier last month centered on the tagline, 'The world's greatest flyers fly American'.

In August, CP+B launched a global campaign for Infiniti's Q60, featuring Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington reciting poetry.
