Having bought over SHC Insurance, ERGO was a newcomer in Singapore’s Insurance industry. However, as a German conglomerate with a heavy influence throughout Europe, ERGO knew they had to get their name out into the market right away to be a contender in the competitive Asian market. Hence, DW was approached to tackle these issues by launching ERGO’s brand in Singapore and heightening its presence in this saturated market.
Planning & Execution
We began the whole campaign with the complete revamp of the company’s stationary and collaterals . We had to work closely with their brand team, situated in Germany, to ensure that all guidelines were adhered to.
Through the use brand’s striking colours, red and white, it led to a series of branded envelopes, policy jackets, calendars, decals, complimentary slips and the creation of the ERGO website for the Asian region.
To officially announce the inception of ERGO, full-page ads in both the Straits Times and Business Times were created. Keeping visuals to a minimum, the copywriting stressed on the expertise of ERGO, while reassuring current customers on the competence of the new parent company.
Effectiveness / Results
ERGO successfully launched the brand in 2014 and is in pole position to become a major insurance solutions provider in Singapore.
