Ad Nut: Your weekly worldwide ad bonanza (sexy edition)

Ad Nut scurries around the internet looking for notable new advertising, because Ad Nut loves you. In this week's super-sexy edition, a dinner guest gives way TMI, Sony fails at an attempt to play 'Doctor', Durex lets app users see steamier scenes than it's allowed to show on TV, a Volvo truck races a hot little supercar, and much more.

Ad Nut gathers ads from anywhere about anything (as opposed to the editors here, who only devote their oh-so-precious time to campaigns that have something to do with Asia-Pacific. Once a week, Ad Nut presents the latest collection here for your viewing pleasure, without much comment, because Ad Nut is just a woodland rodent, after all.

ABOVE: A dinner guest goes into full-on TMI mode in this Maille mustard spot by Adam & Eve/DDB (via Campaign UK).

UK people who download an app can point their phones at the TV screen during this ad to see what's happening out of shot. By Havas Worldwide London (via Campaign UK):

Volvo Trucks challenges a supercar to a race, Top Gear-style:

Benetton partners with UN Women to end gender violence. By Fabrica. (via Campaign US):

This Sony ad, reportedly by TBWA in Belgium was pulled after sexism outrage:

Here's a smarter Sony PS4 ad (a series actually), by BBH New York, featuring the New York City Ballet (via Campaign US):

This Hong Kong Rejoice ad (and its followups--see the links at the end) had Ad Nut and colleagues at Campaign slapping their foreheads. Repeatedly.

British Airways, Tourism Australia and OgilvyOne London got together and made a nice family reunion happen:

BuzzFeed made a list of 50 stock photos "no one would ever use". Totino's, a pizza brand in the US, proved them wrong.

Old Spice (through W+K Portland) follows up its audacious Momsong with, inevitably, Dadsong. But the dads have a different take on their sons growing up:

Zurich (Insurance) saves snowmen. By McCann (via Campaign UK):

Weight Watchers sinks its teeth into emotional eating. By W+K Portland (via Campaign US):

HP brings together a bevy of KOIs for a music video shoot. By 180LA (via Campaign US):

An ad for this addictive game seems unnecessary, doesn't it? For King Digital Entertainment's Candy Crush Soda Saga by WCRS:

Angry old Italian people are so cute. For Pizza Hut by Deutsch LA (via Campaign US):

Al Jazeera, through Memac Ogilvy Dubai, tells human stories (via Campaign US):

Emirates NBD tries to share Emirati culture with expats. By FP7/DXB (part of McCann Worldgroup):

KLM, with DDB & Tribal Amsterdam and FHV BBDO, makes travelers cry with customised headrest covers (really):

And finally, if you haven't had enough, here's some US Black Friday ads.

Ad Nut will be back next week with more chestnuts. Please check out The Work section for Asia-specific ads, and follow Campaign Asia-Pacific on Facebook and Twitter (@CampaignAsia) to see new ads and more good stuff throughout the week.
