Pizza Hut videos are so bad they're...bad (or are they?)

From Australia: 'The Problem With Being Hot' and 'In Defence of Dad Jokes', for Pizza Hut by Host Sydney

Pizza Hut videos are so bad they're...bad (or are they?)

Ad Nut doesn't find these videos for Pizza Hut even slightly funny. In fact, they're so tedious and... what's the word?...Oh yes, 'bad' that Ad Nut finds them painful to watch and therefore refuses to believe that they are not purposely bad. Because surely no one would make videos like this on purpose.

Then again, the products being advertised are pizzas whose crusts have been violated with sausages that in turn have been impregnated with cheese, which has to be someone's idea of a joke. Because surely no one would eat such a thing on purpose (see below).

So perhaps bad videos are the perfect vehicle in this case? Ad Nut is prepared to give the benefit of the doubt and assume there is genius strategy afoot, and has reached out to Host Sydney for insight.

Update: Sure enough, the agency responded that the videos are not completely polished and are meant to be "something different than expected".

Surely you jest, Pizza Hut
