GE and Guardian launch sponsored-content package in Australia

From Australia: 'Innovation never sleeps' for GE by Guardian Labs

GE and Guardian launch sponsored-content package in Australia

The Guardian's in-house Guardian Labs team created this interactive feature, which lets visitors explore a day in the life of five "unsung Australian technology innovators" through written posts, image galleries, data visualisations and videos (see example below). The package, booked through MEC Sydney, will run for three months.

The content looks compelling and Ad Nut is strongly in favour of anything that promotes science and technology. Ad Nut has requested more information about where visitors will encounter the content and how the Guardian will be driving traffic to it.

Update - The Guardian replies:

Guardian Australia will drive visitors to the content through an extensive advertising campaign across the site, including display and bespoke native placements and a social campaign from Guardian Labs accounts. This will be complemented by Outbrain. Each of the companies the Guardian worked with have also been given a "Social Pack" so they can post to their own FB, Twitter, and Linkedin. As the Guardian operate an open API we have encouraged all involved in the project to post the project on their own sites too.
