Mindshare has promoted Amrita Randhawa to APAC CEO.

Randhawa was previously CEO of Mindshare Greater China. She will continue to be based in Shanghai as APAC regional head, and maintain her China role as executive chairperson. Randhawa has more than 12 years at Mindshare, across the agency’s Delhi, Mumbai, Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore offices.

She was a winner at Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Women Leading Change awards last year, and was previously named in Campaign's 40 Under 40. She was made China CEO in 2012.

Randhawa said she accept the role “with great humility” and is focused on ensuring Mindshare is “ahead of the pack” in the media agency landscape.

Mindshare also promoted Prasanth Kumar to CEO for MENA and Africa, in addition to his current role as South Asia CEO. Kumar said together with India and South Asia, the Middle East and Africa were “probably the fastest growing economies on the planet”, and he is thrilled with the opportunity.

Both Randhawa and Kumar will continue to work with Ashutosh Srivastava, Mindshare executive chairperson & CEO for growth markets - APAC, MENA, Africa and Russia/CIS.

“Amrita and PK represent the very best of Mindshare,” he said. “These two represent the future of Mindshare for some of our most important markets globally.”
