SMG claims the consolidated size of the three accounts is about US$2.4 million.

SMG’s social-media arm, SMG Social, won the business for the 28th Southeast Asian Games’ social-media campaign. The agency will be tasked to manage strategy planning, research and insight reports, as well as content and the community for 11 Southeast Asian countries.

The pitch for that work included Havas Media and UM, according to some sources, although UM denied particpating in the pitch. Havas Media's social team confirmed participation.

Property site Open House has named the agency as its integrated agency of record in charge of performance marketing and social.

“SMG SG clearly demonstrated their lateral thinking skills and digital capabilities required to further boost business growth,” said Peter Tay, co-founder, OpenHouse Singapore.

Finally, hair spa chain PHS Hair Science enlisted SMG to manage its rebranding and digital strategy.

“We felt SMG’s passion and dedication in driving results, which is the key to success, and we are confident that this appointment will bring our business to greater heights,” said Eddie Ng, MD, PHS Hair Science.

The wins symbolize SMG's "sustained can-do attitude", said Patricia Goh, GM, Starcom MediaVest Group, Singapore.
