Ogilvy PR Australia wins Mercer business

Jun 21, 2013
Mercer, a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement and investments, has appointed Ogilvy Public Relations Australia as its communications and public relations agency across Australia and New Zealand.

Ogilvy PR’s remit will cover all aspects of Mercer’s media strategy, including social media strategy and implementation.

Ogilvy PR Melbourne’s Managing Director, Alexandra Kelly, said: “We are incredibly excited to be working alongside Mercer, to develop and extend its brand reputation in this market. This new partnership is a great opportunity for all involved, to take the Mercer brand into the next phase of its business.”

Michael Hill, Mercer’s Market Development Leader, Pacific, said: “Ogilvy PR’s creative approach to addressing our requirements to communicate and build brand awareness with both a corporate and consumer audience was a key factor in the decision.

“Mercer is in a very exciting phase, we are investing in our people, our infrastructure and our growth and Ogilvy PR has the breadth of specialists to understand the complexities of our business model. We’re excited to have the team on board – and are looking forward to seeing our ideas in action,” added Hill.

Ogilvy PR Australia is a joint venture between WPP and STW Group, Australia’s leading marketing content and communications group.
