The appointment also marks Kellogg concluding its relationship with incumbent agency Tongue after three years.

“We thank Tongue for their many contributions over the last few years and look forward to a new partnership with fresh ideas and creativity,” said John Broome, marketing director.

VML opened its first Australian office in February last year and has an office in New Zealand that will help ensure greater collaboration with the Kellogg New Zealand marketing team, based in Auckland.

Aden Hepburn, VML’s managing director, noted that digital leadership is needed right across the local FMCG market, and that he hopes to take on the challenge of Kellogg’s brands including Special K, Nutri-Grain, Crunchy Nut and All-Bran.
