Part of IPG Mediabrands, MAP improves insights and results for clients by helping to find, buy and engage their most valuable audiences in real time.

Reporting to Arun Kumar, president of MAP G14, Ye will launch MAP services in China and drive search, social, mobile and programmatic display services that form the core MAP product, including Reprise Media, a search marketing agency, and Cadreon, an audience management platform.

She will also manage and identify partnerships with technology, data and inventory partners, both global and local.

Kumar said: “Sara’s background and experience is ideal for bringing together the best of Western and Chinese approaches to digital marketing. I am pleased that we now have a leader in China who can help our clients get big value from our digital services.”

Ye has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and advertising in the US, mainland China and Hong Kong. Prior to joining MAP, she was the general manager and managing director of search/performance marketing at GroupM.

Ye’s appointment comes after IPG launched Mediabrands Audience Platform services in Japan, and appointed Taro Fujinaka as managing director last week.
