Founded in 2007, Converge employs 90 people and its clients include Unilever, HP, Bank Alfalah, Nokia and Pakistan State Oil. The agency's range of services include digital media strategy, social media planning and management, platform, content and game and app development.

“This partnership will put both Converge and JWT Pakistan in a position to leverage each other’s strengths and scale up our integrated offering for our clients,” said Mansoor Karim Shaikh, CEO of JWT Pakistan.

Over the past year, JWT Asia-Pacific has been developing its digital capabilities through organic growth and via acquisitions. In 2011, the agency acquired China-based digital and social media marketing agency A4A and on 12 March this year, XM Asia acquired Magnivate, a digital agency in Indonesia.

“As one of the 'Next 11' growth economies, Pakistan is very strategic market for JWT,” said Michael Maedel, president of JWT Asia Pacific.  “This deal adds yet more momentum to our regional digital growth strategy."
